The Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Mass. has a new owner.
The property was put on the auction block earlier this month and Daniel Burack won the bidding for one point three million dollars. Burack also purchased the liquor license for an additional one thousand dollars.
According to the Westfield ABC affiliate, Burack plans to continue to operate the 18-hole golf course and banquet hall. He was one of only two people to place a bid.
Economic troubles forced the previous owners to put the club up for sale but when that fell through, the 114-acre facility was put on the auction block.
