Rob Thomas, Editor, Club + Resort Business
Rob Thomas, Editor of Club + Resort Business, is based in Cleveland, Ohio. He’s a member of the Golf Writers Association of America and a long-time golf course rater. Phil Keren, Associate Editor, Club + Resort Business
Phil Keren, Associate Editor of Club + Resort Business, joined the staff in April 2022. Prior to coming to C+RB, Phil spent nearly 22 years working as a reporter and an editor for both daily and weekly newspapers. Phil was a reporter for the Akron Beacon Journal and affiliate weekly newspapers covering communities near Akron. He also logged 16 years working as editor of the Cuyahoga Falls News-Press, a weekly publication. While in that role, Phil won awards from the Ohio Newspaper Association for news coverage and editorial writing. Phil is married with three sons. Joanna DeChellis, Editor, Club + Resort Chef
As Editor of Club + Resort Chef, Joanna DeChellis has written dozens of profiles detailing the inner workings of food and beverages operations at clubs and resorts across the country. She’s penned award-winning articles about the many intricacies within food and beverage as well as culinary trends and breaking news. She is co-host of the award-winning podcast Club + Resort Talks and has served in a variety of content-development roles over the course of her career, including digital, marketing, print, and in-person events. She’s also the Director of Community for the Club + Resort Chef Association. Prior to these roles, she was the Managing Editor of Club & Resort Business.
