The milestone comes 16 months after the club broke ground in April 2025 and is expected to open in spring 2027.

The newly renovated clubhouse features three new dining venues, a new kitchen, and men’s and ladies’ lounges as part of a broader investment across the property.

The new par 3 course is nine holes ranging from 54 to 120 yards and will flow in three-hole loops, past food and drink stops with lights and music-driven social atmospheres.

Both courses are playable for golfers across all levels and come at a time when the club’s first three amenities, the Fieldhouse, Golf Shop, and Outpost are expected to open in spring 2027.

The resort includes two hotels, a JW Marriott and a Ritz Carlton. The purchase price for the acquisition, subject to adjustments, is $1.38 billion.

The expansion is expected to open by summer 2027 and will add four new padel courts and a new Racquets Sports Clubhouse.

The restoration will improve playability, restore strategic elements and prepare its century-old Tillinghast course for its next chapter.

During the Fit Fair, employees had access to complimentary biometric screenings, body-composition assessments, chair massages, facials, stretching, yoga, and nutrition consultations.

The celebration will last the remainder of the year and feature specials and discounts at the restaurant, a community shared day, owners’ appreciation lunch and more.

The event, presented by Troon, aims to make golf accessible and enjoyable for all community members.

The project includes a reimagined main clubhouse with expanded dining, social, and recreational amenities; a new three-story north clubhouse and golf operations facility; a completely rebuilt activities center; and a new guardhouse designed to enhance privacy and security.

The launch of Next Level provides a dedicated platform to promote opportunities, connect with emerging talent, and begin building stronger talent pipelines.

The inaugural 2027 event will pair professional and amateur competition with youth mentorship and fundraising initiatives designed to expand access to golf in Akron.

Troon will assist with managing club operations, agronomy, retail, food and beverage, as well as sales and marketing for Legacy Golf Properties, which recently purchased the semi-private club.

The annual fundraiser included a golf outing and dinner auction to support the families of America’s Special Operation Forces.
