In collaboration with She's Company founder Rebecca Maxwell, the club created an inclusive evening of golf instruction, networking, and socializing that sold out within hours.

By Editorial Staff | July 30, 2026

StoneWater Golf Club (Highland Heights, Ohio) hosted its Girls Who Golf Experience in partnership with Rebecca Maxwell, founder of She’s Company and local influencer. The event was designed to introduce more women to the game of golf through a night of lessons and mingling.

The event, which took place July 29 at StoneWater Golf Club, sold out within hours of registration opening.

“With more women getting involved in the sport, we wanted to create an event that felt approachable and fun,” says Lindsey Neidus, Chief Marketing and Development Officer of StoneWater. “The future of golf truly is female. It can be hard to get started, improve your game, and meet other women who play, so nights like this are a super cool opportunity to help women take the leap.”

The sold-out Girls Who Golf Event included:

  • A beginner-friendly golf clinic led by instructors from StoneWater’s Linksman Golf Academy.
  • Professional instruction from three StoneWater golf professionals.
  • Opportunities to learn the fundamentals of golf and practice in a relaxed, supportive environment.
  • Netowrking with women who are new to the game or looking to become more involved in golf.
  • Complimentary light bites.
  • A post-clinic social hour featuring local vendors.

The collaboration between StoneWater and She’s Company provides women with approachable introduction to golf while showcasing the sport as a way to build confidence, strengthen relationships and create new opportunities both personally and professionally. No previous golf experience is required, making the event accessible to first-time golfers and those looking to reconnect with the game.

Rebecca Maxwell founded She’s Company to bring women together through meaningful experiences that encourage authentic connection and personal growth. Partnering with StoneWater reflects both organizations’ commitment to creating inclusive spaces where women can learn new skills while expanding their personal and professional networks.

The enthusiastic response to the event reinforces StoneWater’s ongoing commitment to growing the game through innovative programming, community partnerships and experiences that welcomes golfers of every age and ability.
