Hunters Run Country Club Announces Recipients of OGO Employee Recognition Program

The OGO (O Great One!) program is an ongoing initiative that celebrates employee performance and builds a culture where team members feel valued and empowered.

By Editorial Staff | August 4, 2026

Hunters Run Country Club (Boynton Beach, Fla.) announced the recipients of its “OGO (O Great One!)” Employee Recognition program. This ongoing initiative celebrates exceptional performance and builds a culture where team members feel valued and empowered.

Larry Savvides, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, announced the recipients of the 2025/2026 awards.

The recipients are:

  • OGO Manager of the Year: Jean-Brunel Pierre, Chief Steward, Hunters Run Country Club
  • OGO Employee of the Year: Jimmy Rincon, Maintenance Technician, Hunters Run Country Club

“OGO goes beyond simple acknowledgment or quarterly recognition,” explains Director of People and Culture, Emily Roeckle. “It actively inspires team members to exceed expectations and ensures everyone knows their initiatives matter.”

“When Team Members feel valued, their impact and, ultimately, the success of Hunters Run grows exponentially,” says Savvides. “We’re not just recognizing great work; we’re fostering an environment where initiative is celebrated in real time and our team feels they are the driving force behind our members’ experiences.”

The OGO program encourages leaders and colleagues to nominate team members who demonstrate exceptional work and attitude. Employees who have completed at least 90 days of service and embody one or more of the club’s employee core values: Compassion, Respect, Enthusiasm, Empowerment, and Dedication are eligible. Human Resources confirms eligibility, and the club’s executive leadership team reviews nominations.

OGO recipients receive a gift card and an award. At the end of the high season, all of the OGO winners are treated to a luncheon reception at the club. Two Annual Winners are announced, one hourly employee and one in management, each receiving a well-earned gift and trophy.

“The OGO program celebrates our Team Members in meaningful ways: through peer-to-peer recognition, shout-outs for great work, and manager-led thank-you notes and acknowledgments,” says Roeckle. “These consistent moments of appreciation reinforce that recognition isn’t a one-time or quarterly event but an ongoing part of our culture.”

“OGO is more than a program; it’s a mindset,” adds Savvides. “It’s about recognizing team members who go above and beyond and building a workplace where everyone feels appreciated.”
