The golf car manufacturer is the latest supporting partner for the women’s association, which has 120 chapters nationwide and is preparing for the 2014 EWGA Championship Finals in Nashville, Tenn.
As the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) gears up for their 2014 EWGA Championship Finals in Nashville, Tenn., it announces Yamaha Golf Car as their 2014 newest supporting partner.
“The Yamaha Golf Car Company is proud to be associated with the EWGA,” said Kevin Norcross, Yamaha’s Division Manager. “We all need to do whatever we can to promote the game of golf in America, and what better way to do so than to support the Women who already play the game and bring more Women into the game.”
Now being recognized as “The Official Golf Car of the EWGA,” Yamaha’s newly formed supporting partnership has countless benefits. Yamaha will have the ability to directly interact with current and aspiring businesswomen with purchasing power throughout the year, reaching EWGA members through traditional marketing, e-communications and on-site presence at EWGA events. While building brand awareness, this allows Yamaha to educate women about their products, their golf cars’ features and the advantages they have over their competitors. They will also have the opportunity to develop new accounts with colleges & universities through EWGA’s Grads to Golf™ program.
“The EWGA, with its 120 Chapters nationwide, is the premier organization for women in golf and their ‘Grads to Golf’ program is an excellent way to grow and improve the experience for Women in the game of golf in the United States, ” says Norcross.
“Since our EWGA members will be playing the EWGA Championship Finals at a Yamaha facility, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect,” said Ashley Nelson, EWGA’s Director of Business Development.
Yamaha offers a complete line of transportation and specialty vehicles. As an industry first, Electronic Fuel Injection for the Yamaha golf car offers many benefits over traditional carbureted fuel delivery systems.
