The World Golf Championship is trying to help abused or neglected horses in South Florida by donating proceeds to its March 9-13 tournament at the Doral Golf Resort.
The South Florida SPCA took in two horses that were starving and pregnant last week at its Hialeah ranch to give the mares and their unborn foals a chance, reports the Miami Herald.
Now others can help these horses—and other animals—by watching leading golfers at the March 9-13 World Golf Championship at the Doral Golf Resort, Miami, Fla., as The World Golf Championship is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from tickets sold through the charity’s website, www.spca-sofla.com, to the South Florida SPCA.
