Two private golf and country clubs in the St. Louis area, Persimmon Woods Golf Club and Westborough Country Club, have entered into an agreement offering reciprocal privileges for members at each of their clubs.
According to the St. Louis Business Journal, full golfing members at each club can use the other club’s facilities, including the golf course, tennis courts, fitness center, pool and dining and banquet halls.
About 75 percent of Persimmon Woods’ membership resides in west St. Louis County or St. Charles County, while much of Westborough’s membership lives in the nearby communities of Webster Groves and Kirkwood.
“Any time when we can broaden our range of services without increasing fees, it’s a win-win for our membership,” said Benjiman Kent, General Manager of Persimmon Woods, in a statement.
