Wolf Creek Golf Club, Mesquite, Nev., is giving back to the community, and to local veterans. Recently, the club hosted the Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament to Benefit The Mesquite Veterans Center, a fundraiser that goes towards the construction of a new facility for the Mesquite Veterans Center.
The money raised will help fund the construction of five modular framed units to make one 3,600 square foot building. The building will be used mainly for administration purposes, and act as a central meeting and gathering place for the organization.
“We saw the Mesquite Veterans Center as the perfect local organization to support,” said Joel Villanos, General Manager of Wolf Creek GC “Wolf Creek wanted to do its part in supporting our troops and the veterans, as well as support a local organization with a great cause.”
The fundraiser generated over $8,200 this year, $700 more than it raised last year.
