Over 25% of the Naples, Fla., club’s members have taken the Blue Zones Pledge as part of a community-wide effort to live healthier lives. The club will host an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 11.
Windstar on Naples Bay has become Blue Zones Recognized, with over 25% of its members taking the Blue Zones Pledge.
“Our Wellness Coordinator, Pina Olson and the Wellness Committee brought Blue Zones to our attention and as management we were beyond excited to find a community approach to our vision of members living longer, healthier lives,” said General Manager Nancy Boros. “Windstar members are always looking for ways to stay healthy and get fit, this is a perfect opportunity for our Members to join together for a sense of community and inclusiveness. At Windstar that is what members are all about so it is such a natural fit. Our members are so proud to be in on the ground floor of this exciting opportunity.”
Windstar on Naples Bay will have an official ribbon cutting ceremony as a Blue Zones Recognized Country Club on February 11 at 5pm in its newly renovated clubhouse.
Windstar, a member-owned club, has also been awarded the Distinguished Gold Club of the World award and America’s Healthiest Clubs award. It features a Tom Fazio 18-hole golf course, 6 har tru tennis courts, waterfront dining, state-of-the-art wellness center, deep water yacht basin and private beach on Keewaydin Island.
