Kidd was previously Director of Sales and Marketing for Whitetail, Shore Lodge and The Cove spa.
After a months-long nationwide search for the right person to fill the Club Director position at Whitetail Club, McCall, Idaho, it turned out that the best candidate was already part of the team. Jocelyn Kidd, formerly the Director of Sales and Marketing for Whitetail, Shore Lodge and The Cove spa, has been promoted to Club Director for Whitetail Club and will assume responsibility for all club operations, member relations and membership sales.
Kidd will oversee all of Whitetail Club’s member amenities, including operation of its championship golf course, the Golf Shop & Grille and the Fish & Swim Club, the latter of which is the community’s central gathering place that houses year-round tennis, fitness, recreation and dining. In addition, Kidd will be responsible for membership sales and member and guest relations, ensuring personalized service and outstanding experiences are an everyday occurrence.
“Jocelyn is perfect for this role,” said Dan Scott, General Manager of Whitetail Club and its sister properties Shore Lodge and The Cove. “We searched nationally for someone who has the necessary skills and background to run an upscale private club and also represent both Whitetail Club and McCall with the grace and enthusiasm that Jocelyn possesses. We’ve judged the other candidates against what we knew about her. In hindsight, moving her into this role was an easy decision.”
Kidd has spent her entire career in hospitality, with a focus on private club marketing and operations, beginning with the Missoula Golf & Country Club before moving to McCall to take a group sales position at Whitetail Club in 2004. She moved into the director of sales and marketing role where she managed the re-launch of the Shore Lodge brand in 2008 and the addition of The Cove spa in 2011.
