Shorecliffs Golf Club in San Clemente, Calif., recently hosted a Grand Opening event to unveil its newly improved golf course, renovated clubhouse and new 501 Restaurant & Bar. In the clubhouse, enhancements include the addition of two new indoor golf simulators, a new golf shop and outdoor patio. “It’s an exciting time at Shorecliffs Golf Club, the improvements made to the course and club are truly amazing,” says Justin Lake, Troon Director of Operations.

Shorecliffs Golf Club in San Clemente, Calif. recently unveiled its newly improved golf course, renovated clubhouse and new 501 Restaurant & Bar. Approximately 200 golfers and community members enjoyed 9 holes of golf, tours, games on new golf simulators and some giveaways during the Jan. 13 Grand Opening festivities. The golf course, clubhouse and restaurant are now open for the public to enjoy.

Shorecliffs Golf Club has undergone major renovations and improvements over the last four years. In the clubhouse, enhancements include the addition of two new indoor golf simulators, a new golf shop and outdoor patio. On the golf course, renovations improved tee boxes and fairways, added drainage, installed water features and new landscaping helped beautify areas throughout the course.

“It’s an exciting time at Shorecliffs Golf Club, the improvements made to the course and club are truly amazing,” said Justin Lake, Troon Director of Operations. “The entire guest experience, from the refreshed golf course to the incredible menu at the 501 Restaurant & Bar, has been elevated.”

Guests at the Grand Opening event sampled of Shorecliffs’ cuisine at the new 501 Restaurant & Bar. Open for breakfast and lunch daily, the 501 Restaurant & Bar features a menu of traditional breakfast favorites including omelets, avocado toast, buttermilk pancakes as well as house specialties like the Chef’s Benedict and the Frittata Primavera. Soon to become favorites on the lunch menu are the Steak Sandwich, The Shore Smash Burger and Mexi-Cali choices such as the Baja Fish Tacos and the Short Rib Tacos. The 501 Restaurant & Bar is open for dinner Friday and Saturday evenings with a selection of appetizers, salads and entrees including popular dishes such as Chicken Marsala, St. Louis Style Baby Back Ribs, and the NY Steak.

Shorecliff’s newly renovated clubhouse is available for weddings, holiday parties, celebrations of life, corporate events and more. The two new HD Golf Simulators can be rented by the hour and allow golfers the opportunity to play 44 different golf courses, including Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black and Pinehurst No. 2.
