West Bay Club in Estero, Fla. has partnered with the Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) men’s golf program. As part of the partnership, the West Bay Club will be the FGCU men’s golf team’s home course, team members will have access to West Bay Club’s practice facility and golf course to advance player development and help attract future recruits.

Located in nearby Fort Myers, Florida Gulf Coast University teams have combined to win 82 conference regular season and tournament titles in just 13 seasons at the Division I level. In addition, in just nine seasons of D-I postseason eligibility, the Eagles have had a combined 38 teams or individuals compete in NCAA championships, including three men’s golfers. FGCU Men’s golf coach Andrew Dana has assembled a talented squad of golfers with hopes of winning the A-Sun Conference and advancing to Nationals.
West Bay Club and its community are in the midst of phase one of a $12 million amenity improvement and renovation project focused on updating and transforming the community’s Bay House activity center, poolside fitness building, dining options and Beach Club ocean-side amenity, as well as West Bay Club’s Golf House and pub.

The member-owned private golf club and community is located on 868 acres adjacent to Estero Bay and bordering 500 acres of nature preserve and wetlands. Troon Privé, the private club operations division of Troon, manages the award-winning club and community association.
