Palm Aire Country Club, Sarasota, Fla., was vandalized earlier this month to the tune of $20,000 in damages, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a media release, multiple greens and fairways were damaged by a vehicle that appeared to be a golf cart and fireworks were set off from the par-4, 15th hole on the Champions Course. The practice putting green was severely damaged as well, reports the Bradenton Herald.
The vandalism comes just after Palm Aire CC renovated both of its courses, reports the Herald. One renovation was completed this summer, and the other the previous.
