University Club of Orlando (Fla.) has launched a unique program for the children and families of University Club members. For the upcoming holiday season, children members will have the opportunity to stuff 60 toy animals to present to children who have been victims of or traumatized by crime.
Susan Greene, General Manager of University Club of Orlando, said the stuffed animals—horses, teddy bears and German Shepherd dogs—will be delivered to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for distribution to the traumatized children by Mounted Officers, Patrol Cars and K-9 Units.
