Miles Blundell has been named head golf professional at the Oneida Indian Nation’s Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, N.Y. Turning Stone has three 18-hole courses; Atunyote, Kaluhyat and Shenendoah; and two nine-hole courses, Sandstone Hollow and Pleasant Knolls; as well as a golf academy and indoor practice facility.
Prior to joining Turning Stone, Blundell was PGA professional at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pa. (See “A Tiger in the Woods,” C&RB, June 2009). Blundell has been a Class A PGA Professional since 2005 and is among a select group of golf professionals who are PGA Certified in all six specialties: General Management, Instruction, Retail, Golf Operations, Executive Management and Ownership/Leasing.
