HOBE SOUND, Fla., Nov. 1, 2006 – Trophy Golf Management, a boutique management, development and consulting company specializing in high-quality private clubs and golf courses, golf communities, resorts and golf-oriented lodging properties, today announced it has expanded its resort and club management portfolio with the addition of both The Club at Paradise Ranch and Paradise Ranch Resort. As part of the agreement, Trophy Golf has signed a 10-year contract to expand its current development consulting and assume full management of Paradise Ranch Resort and Club upon opening. The 320-acre development, including a Jack Nicklaus/Jack Nicklaus II co-designed, 18-hole championship golf course and 100-room resort, is located in Grant’s Pass, situated in Southern Oregon’s picturesque Rogue Valley and recently ranked as “One of the Top 10 Places to Live in the U.S.” by Inc., Money and Where To Retire Magazines.
“The Pacific Northwest showcases a fascinating blend of rugged terrain and majestic beauty, from its breathtaking coastal links courses and immaculate desert layouts to picturesque high mountain resorts, and it is no wonder that Oregon has made a name for itself as one of the country’s top golf destinations,” said Michael Zmetrovich, chief executive officer, Trophy Golf Management. “The Club at Paradise Ranch and Paradise Ranch Resort will certainly add to the lure of Oregon golf as a gem in Southern Oregon that no golfer will want to pass up, and having the opportunity to manage a destination resort and club of this high caliber is extremely exciting and strategic for our company.”
“We believe Jack Nicklaus, Jack Nicklaus II and their team at Nicklaus Design have set the standard for excellence in golf courses throughout the world and we went to great lengths to surround ourselves with a development and management team that matches their distinction,” said Bill Leep, co-owner, Paradise Ranch. “We set the bar high and Trophy Golf Management was hand selected to work with the rest of our world-class team to design, develop and manage Paradise Ranch as one of the best in the Pacific Northwest.”
