The management company will take over food-and-beverage operations and recreational amenities for the private club’s Plantation Club complex. Troon is also planning a $10 million renovation, pending community approval.
Troon has been selected to manage the food and beverage operations and the recreational amenities at The Dunes of Naples (Fla.).
The private residential community has approximately 634 residents and is comprised of seven high rise towers of high-end luxury condos, 40 luxury coach homes and the Plantation Club, a 10,000-sq. ft. recreational complex where the pool, food and beverage options, fitness center, tennis, and recreational activities are located.
As part of the agreement, Troon will manage the food and beverage operations, including The Dining Room and Tiki Bar; and the recreational amenities, including the resort-style pool, fitness center and spa and the tennis center.
“We are thrilled to have Troon as our new food and beverage management company,” said General Manager Arell Harris. “After an extensive search for the ‘right’ management company, we strongly believe Troon’s expertise and depth of resources will give our residents and guests superior dining and recreational experiences.”
The Troon food and beverage team will look to enhance the dining options at The Dunes of Naples and, pending a community approval vote, will also oversee a $10 million renovation of the Plantation Club in 2017.
“At The Dunes of Naples there are a number of areas where our team will make an immediate impact,” said John Bartilomo, vice president, food & beverage operations, Troon. “In the coming weeks, the Troon F&B team will hire a new executive chef, introduce new menus and refine the culinary and service standards.”
