Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club (PAHGCC) opened its Wellness Center doors to our Membership and their guests in November 2010. Since its inception, the two-story building has served as the cornerstone of family-oriented and fitness-minded activity and featured regularly in our monthly video newsletter taped in collaboration with the NBC Golf Channel. Palo Alto Hills is home to one of the most welcoming and diverse private clubs in the world. And we are excited to raise the Fitness & Wellness Center bar even further within the private club Industry.
The state-of-the-art Wellness Center is known as “a mini-club within a club” amongst our Members due to its exclusivity and private feel. Complete with a variety of cardiovascular and strength-equipment, two exercise rooms to accommodate a weekly schedule of thirty fitness classes, personal trainers, and more – we think the Wellness Center has something for all member’s fitness-related needs. Since partnering with renowned company Mobius Fitness, we have contracted the best personal trainers in the Bay Area and have diversified our fitness program. This has allowed us to bring in a team of specialized trainers that range from Golf Mobility to Zumba exercises and everything in between. If Members cannot make it to the Wellness Center, they can get active via our virtual fitness classes found on the Club website, which offers eighteen different courses every week. For our top fitness enthusiasts, we provide a fitness class pass which allow Members to utilize more classes for less. We even take our love for fitness outdoors, taking advantage of local trails around Palo Alto including the Stanford Dish and Arastradero Preserve located right in our backyard.
The Wellness Center boasts three tennis courts – Two full-sized, standard courts, and one grass court. We are proud to be home to the only grass court in Northern California. From our tennis courts, overlooking the signature 18th hole, and infinity pool lies stunning vistas of the San Francisco Bay Area. And two pickleball courts round-up the tennis options for our Members. Our esteemed tennis professionals continue to grow our tennis program offering private lessons, clinics, and socials for all age groups. And our ball machine allows Members to practice even without a partner. For Members seeking something more sociable, they can sign up for pickleball or tennis hitting lists to find a partner to play a match with.
Sitting poolside brings wine and dine options from our kitchen while Members overlook the 18th green which sits amongst our golden, picturesque hillside. One of our most coveted events is our annual summer kick-off pool party where we bring in local food, beer, and wine vendors to celebrate with live music. With poolside games and BBQ-style meals, every Summer has outdone the next. We offer child and adult swim clinics year-round with dedicated age groups that focus on everything from adapting in the water to gaining every millisecond in competitions.

Our retail options also extend outside our shop as we continue to host pop-up trunk shows from jewelry lines like Kathy Kamei Design and workout brands like PopFlex.
