The rankings reflect the judges’ scoring of data provided on clubhouse square footage; locker room(s) data; event space and seating capacity; bar area(s) square footage; dining area(s) square footage; availability of outdoor dining; wine room/cellar; total dining and bar areas seating capacity; kitchen(s) square footage; pro shop square footage; fitness and wellness square footage; and whether a dedicated youth space is offered.
Entries also included descriptions submitted by the club and resort properties on why their clubhouses should be top ranked, and a full complement of supporting photos. The judges weighted the data and material provided to score all entries.

The Club recently accepted the prestigious Golf Inc. Golden Fork Award for private clubs for its incredible design of Jack’s gastropub and grill.

27. The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe, Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
The crown jewel of The Bridges Club is its 36,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, an award-winning masterpiece reminiscent of a centuries-old Tuscan village. Timeless architecture, intimate rooms, and a gracious staff all contribute to a warm ambience that is revered by Bridges Members.

28. The Golf Club of Georgia, Alpharetta, Ga.
The Golf Club of Georgia was renovated in 2015-16 with the idea in mind to make our club one of the premier clubs in the southeast. Every corner of this building was improved and enhanced with our membership in mind.
From small intimate meeting spaces to our large ballroom with seating up to 250 people we can cover it all.
We always want to be on the forefront of technology and factored that into the meeting spaces and throughout the Clubhouse.
The clubhouse was originally built in 1991 when the Club first opened. In went through a massive renovation project in 2015-16 that touched the entire clubhouse.
With new dining rooms, meeting spaces, ballroom, and outdoor dining features this is every member’s dream clubhouse.
29. Addison Reserve Country Club, Delray Beach, Fla.
The clubhouse in the prestigious community of Addison Reserve has been welcoming members in grand style since 1996 – we are celebrating our Silver Anniversary this year. To quote our CEO and General Manager, Michael J. McCarthy, “the road to success is always under construction.”
The evolution of the clubhouse is testament to that statement. In 2010, there was a 24,000 sq. ft. addition to the clubhouse, bringing it to its current 70,000 sq. ft. The addition incorporated a new lounge and terrace, two private dining rooms, a wine room and expanded golf facility. The additional dining venues enhanced the entire social scene at Addison Reserve.
In the fall of 2019, the construction of the Lifestyle Complex was completed. The 35,000 square foot complex features green spaces, waterfall, fire pits and open-air seating at The Grill restaurant and resort style pool. The two-story 15,500 sq. ft. Fitness Center is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment in multiple studios. Adjacent to the Fitness Center is The Spa for the ultimate in pampering and relaxation, the children’s splash pool and game room, 11 Har-Tru lighted Tennis courts, 4 lighted Pickleball courts and a full basketball court. On-staff personal trainers, certified physical therapists and a registered dietician focus on Members’ Health and Wellness. Clubhouse “Refresh” was completed in October 2021. Mirroring the clean lines and color palette of the Lifestyle Complex, entrants to the lobby are greeted by a full wall waterfall that reflects soft blue hues. Steps away is the stYr lounge with high tops, bar and cozy nook seating in a chic setting inside, with additional seating and individual fire pits on the terrace. In Taste, our seafood and steakhouse restaurant, we brought Florida inside. Large pane windows reflect the waterfall that is adjacent to the putting area for golf. Throughout the dining area, there are tropical plants and urns overflowing with colorful flowers to add to the feel of a tropical paradise. Appointments in the private dining rooms, El Solano and Floresta, and the Vault, our wine room, greet Members with a casual elegance. The Floranada alcove is a great place to sit by the fireplace and enjoy a book. The Ladies’ and Men’s card rooms feature white and cool blue tones, with white marble accents.
In how many spaces do you hear “look up?” You don’t want to miss the stunning light fixtures throughout the clubhouse, or the transplanted orchids in the trees outside the clubhouse entrance where our resident horticulturist continues to add to his collection.
In just 24 months, Addison Reserve has constructed/updated all member facilities. The Clubhouse “refresh” brings the facility improvements full circle. Our members, their families and their friends will enjoy elegant, functional spaces for many years to come.
30. Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club, Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
The two clubhouses are impressive private club appropriate and attractive structures, are very functional and feature spectacular views of the Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club’s golf courses. Both clubhouses receive Excellent to Outstanding ratings in the club’s annual member surveys.
Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club has two fully functioning clubhouses. The West clubhouse has 44,000 sq. ft., opened in 2001 and was renovated in 2005, 2011 and 2018. The Lodge, or East clubhouse has 22,000 sq. ft., and was built and opened in 2016.
The numbers below are the total for both clubhouses. For example, the West clubhouse has 574 lockers and the Lodge has 32 for a total of 606 lockers
