The restaurant is part of Harbourside Place, a waterfront development in downtown Jupiter, Fla., and will likely open in 2015.
Harbourside Place, a planned development in downtown Jupiter, Fla., will soon be home to The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club, owned by Tiger Woods.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have Tiger’s new establishment operating within Harbourside Place,” said Nicholas Mastroianni II, president and CEO of Allied Capital & Development of South Florida. “As many know, this project is nearly a decade in the making, and it’s gratifying to see the final stages met with support from local, national and international organizations such as Mr. Woods’.
“The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club will be in a prime location at Harbourside Place, adjacent to the amphitheater and marina, with its own valet roundabout,” Mastroianni said
While The Woods Jupiter planning is still in the works, its original concept encompasses 5,900 sq. ft. with outdoor seating.
An opening date has not been set, but is anticipated for the first quarter of 2015.
“I’ve been watching Harbourside Place’s development since it broke ground more than two years ago, and know that it is the perfect location for my sports and dining club,” said Woods. “I look forward to enjoying my restaurant as much as I hope the public will.
“I envision a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a great meal. I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could help support the community,” Woods said.
Harbourside Place is situated on 10 acres of waterfront property, and is described by local officials as a destination that will give Jupiter a downtown area and sense of identity. Harbourside Place will feature the 4-Star Wyndham Grand Jupiter hotel alongside ground floor restaurant and retail, upper level Class A office space, a public and private marina and 15,000-sq. ft. amphitheater.
Harbourside Place is scheduled to open to the public October 15, 2014. A soft open and ribbon cutting ceremony on October 28 will be followed by a series of grand opening events for the public in December.
