The Johns Creek, Ga., club boosted membership through a targeted strategy that included developing a new membership plan, hiring a membership director, conducting a “Competitive Market Analysis,” and creating new membership categories and pricing.
The Standard Club has seen significant membership growth in 2013, adding 50 new members so far with more in the pipeline.
The Johns Creek, Ga., club’s membership boost has been a result of multiple factors: hiring Private Club Associates (PCA) of Georgia to develop a new membership plan that included hiring a membership director, conducting a “Competitive Market Analysis,” and creating new membership categories and pricing.
“PCA has done a great job and delivered as promised on all areas in a very timely fashion,” said Scott Curiel, General Manager/Director of Golf. “It was important for our Board to get the recommendations from experts in this market in order to facilitate the needed changes of our membership products that have led to the club adding 50 new members so far this year with more in the pipeline.”
The Standard Club was founded in 1867 and is comprised of an Arthur Hills-designed 18-hole championship golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, fitness center, racquet ball and basketball course, a pool complex and expansive clubhouse capable of hosting both member dining and banquet events.
“We are honored to be working with such a prestigious club in the Atlanta market and delighted with the results thus far,” said Steve Paris, PCA Partner.
