The Lehi, Utah-based management company purchased the Missoula, Mont., property, which features an 18-hole, links-style golf course, an aquatic complex, fitness center with outdoor recreation offerings, dining and event space.
Lehi, Utah-based Vanguard Golf Management has announced the purchase of The Ranch Club in Missoula, Mont.
The 18-hole, par 72, links-style course includes curving hillsides and remarkable water features, while providing unobstructed and panoramic views of the Missoula valley and the distant Rocky Mountains.
The Les Furbur-designed golf course is the centerpiece of the semi-private Ranch Club. Spread throughout 343 acres of ranchland, the course may be played from 5,096 yards to as long as 7,020 yards.
“As a company we were struck by the beauty of the course and the remarkable golf and were excited by the unique opportunity to expand our brand of outstanding golf and personal service,” said Walt Willey, President of Vanguard Golf.
Situated in Missoula, Montana, the hub of western Montana, the course will be one of the hosts of the University of Montana women’s golf team.
The property also offers dining, event space, a four-pool aquatic complex, fitness center with outdoor recreation offerings, social clubs, and activities for kids.
In addition to the Ranch Club, Vanguard Golf Management now owns four courses: Ranches Golf Club in Eagle Mountain, Utah; Coral Canyon Golf Course in St. George, Utah; Falcon Ridge Golf Club in Mesquite, Nev. They also lease Thanksgiving Point Golf Course in Lehi, Utah and manage Sky Mountain Golf Course, Hurricane, Utah.
