Kahala Hotel & Resort on the island of Oahu, Hawaii has unveiled its $52 million renovation, a project more than two years in the making.
The renovation included all guestrooms in the resort’s Tower and Dolphin wings, The Kahala Spa, signature suites, meeting spaces and porte cochere. The Kahala also has two new beachfront suites. The Kahala Suite comes with a dining table and outside barbeque grill, fit for hosting up to 50 guests. The Beachfront Suite has more of a cottage feel and is made for smaller groups.
The spa has also been touched up in the renovation, with five new treatment rooms, a men’s retreat and an outdoor lounge area. Meeting and ballroom spaces have also been updated.
The project was completed just in time for the hotel’s 45th anniversary. “We’ve accomplished our goal of restoring The Kahala to the grand splendor for which it’s been known,” said Thomas Pauly, the resort’s general manager, to Travel Agent Central.
