Now under the management of Troon, the former Falls Golf & Country Club in Lake Worth, Fla., has rebranded itself and renovated its clubhouse by extending the lobby area, updating the Grille Room, and restoring locker rooms and card rooms. The 18-hole golf course has seen modifications to its fairway bunkers, restored dimensions of the lake systems, improved fairway conditions, and the addition of six new forward tees.
Troon® has been selected to manage The Falls Club of the Palm Beaches in Lake Worth, Fla., formerly known as Falls Golf & Country Club. The new agreement with Troon is part of the overall “rebirth” of The Falls Club, which has undergone a name change, new branding, along with renovations and upgrades to the golf course and clubhouse.
The Falls Club offers members the complete Palm Beach lifestyle with an outstanding non-residential private club experience and award-winning 18-hole golf course. The golf course upgrade restores many elements of Gentleman Joe Lee’s original course design. The most notable changes will be seen in several modified fairway bunkers, restored dimensions of the course’s lake systems and improved fairway conditions. With the addition of six new forward ladies’ tees, the course will offer a more manageable option for all.
Included in the clubhouse renovation is the extension of the club’s lobby area, changes to the Grille Room, and complete restoration to the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms and card rooms.
“We are thrilled to be involved with The Falls Club during this rebirth,” said Jim McLaughlin, senior vice president, Troon Privé operations. “The Falls Club truly offers a lifestyle that is unique to the region and with an array of amenities; the club offers an experience perfectly suited for not only avid golfers, but for their families as well.”
The Falls Club offers an expansive 40,000-sq. ft. clubhouse with a golf shop, a complete caddie program, complimentary snack pavilion, multiple tennis courts, health club with certified personal trainers and tennis professionals, separate men’s and ladies’ card rooms, expansive locker rooms, a relaxed and casual 19th-hole and full-service ‘Grille Room’ restaurant, along with a bar & lounge boasting gorgeous views of the signature hole and rock waterfall.
“We are excited to announce this great new relationship with Troon,” said Jay Raubvogel, President of The Falls Club. “After an extensive search, we selected Troon due to their proven track record and extensive knowledge of the private club industry. We look forward to working with them for many more years to come.”
