The Country Club at Mirasol Raises $36,000 for Tee It Up For the Troops, Inc.

| December 6, 2010

A festive and patriotic weekend’s worth of tournaments, social events, community celebration, and care for America’s troops brought over 600 members of The Country Club at Mirasol, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., together on November 13th and 14th. As a result of the events of the Club’s seventh anniversary weekend, The Country Club at Mirasol raised $36,000 to benefit United States servicemen and women and their families.

The weekend’s events included luncheons, golf and tennis tournaments, a 5K walk, a poolside cocktail party, and a family festival on the driving range with carnival games, live music, and a fireworks show. Jeff Anderson and Will Converse from Tee It Up for the Troops, Inc. were on hand to share information about their foundation, whose mission is to honor, respect, and remember the service of those that have given so freely to protect our nation. It was the fourth year of Mirasol’s partnership with the organization.

General Manager and COO Matt Lambert said, “It is with great pride that we were able to once again show our gratitude to the United States Armed Forces by making this donation. It is because of the continued support and generosity of our members that we have now raised $139,000 for the organization as a result of our annual anniversary weekend celebrations.”
