The West Palm Beach, Fla. club added a new Golf Equipment and Fitting Center, an outdoor grill and bar, and 35 percent more retail space to its Golf & Lifestyle Shop. Additionally, a new men’s card room was created and the Woman’s Lounge added a hair blow-out bar with three service stations. “Ibis is continually updating and making improvements to its infrastructure, to assist the members in using the club to the fullest,” said Stephen LoGiudice, Ibis’s General Manager/COO.
The Club at Ibis in West Palm Beach, Fla. has completed a $15 million capital improvement project that provides more entertainment and dining options, a new Golf Equipment and Fitting Center and added space to the Pub, card rooms and retail shops.
“Ibis is continually updating and making improvements to its infrastructure to assist the members in using the club to the fullest,” said Stephen LoGiudice, CCM, Ibis’s General Manager/COO. “Ibis is one of the most innovative and competitive clubs in our marketplace, and we will invest to keep improving on our member experience.”
Members will notice the changes as soon as they walk into the clubhouse lobby, where a seating area has been created. At the nearby Pub, the club added a dedicated kitchen, a new outdoor bar and 30 percent more indoor seating. A new Alcove Bar and lounge has also been built.
Golf also was at the forefront of the capital improvements at the club that includes three Nicklaus family-designed courses. The new Golf Equipment and Fitting Center, built on the north driving range, is dedicated for training, equipment demo and fitting along with swing analysis.
A new outdoor grill and bar was added by the driving range that allows for grab-and-go orders, pizzas, or outdoor barbeque. Also, 35 percent more retail space was added to the Golf & Lifestyle Shop.
A new men’s card room was created, adding 40 percent more tables, with a new full-service bar offered in the evening. The Woman’s Lounge added a hair blow-out bar with three service stations. Finally, a new porte-cochere was added to keep members dry while utilizing the valet.
Martin Hall, The Club at Ibis’ Director of Golf Instruction for 21 years, continues to provide major exposure for the club. Hall’s weekly show on Golf Channel, School of Golf, recently surpassed 350 episodes.
