The Country Club at Castle Pines in Castle Rock, Colo. has completed an extensive multimillion-dollar transformation project bringing stylish new dining, social and patio features to the clubhouse.
C+RB reported in 2019 at the start of the project.
The reinvented clubhouse expanded its upscale casual dining areas, added a new indoor/outdoor bar, created an intimate fine dining room with wine experience and built a new Chef’s Corner featuring an interactive, exhibition style kitchen. The outside terraces have been expanded to include a new southern facing patio with views of Pikes Peak, Devil’s Head, Mt. Evans, and the entire Front Range.
The club is also putting the finishing touches on its new and dramatic cliffside amenities including a cliffside pool, fitness center, and tennis facilities. The club’s infinity edge, heated pool has an expansive deck with a hot tub, fire pits and cabanas that directly overlook the mountains and sit 400 feet above the 18th green.
The new complex also features a fitness center with an expansive deck and a cliffside restaurant and bar offering poolside service in a cabana or at a deck chair.
The Country Club at Castle Pines boasts a world-class championship Jack Nicklaus Signature course and pro shop that is annually ranked in the top private clubs in the country. The club made great use of its design phase by enhancing the award-winning golf practice facilities by unveiling a new, short-game complex including two chipping and sand play greens as well as a full featured short iron range.
In 2020, the club revealed its most unique golf amenity called The Crags. The Crags is a massive, one-acre putting course built on a series of rocky crags on the western cliff directly behind the clubhouse. The Crags is already becoming known as one of the best 18-hole putting courses in the country.
