With a new focus on future growth, the resort has named a chief executive officer steeped in the challenges of resort operations in northern Michigan.
The Resorts of Tullymore & St. Ives has named Terry Schieber as Chief Executive Officer of resort operations in northern Michigan.
Schieber is former vice president of ClubCorp Inc. of Dallas and has been in charge of operations for some of the country’s most notable resorts including Pinehurst, the Homestead in Virginia, Seabrook Island in South Carolina, Palmas Del Mar in Puerto Rico, Mount St. Anne in Quebec, and Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire.
Schieber takes over management of the Resorts of Tullymore & St. Ives after a two-and-one-half-year-stint as vice president of resort and golf operations for the Oceanico Group USA, based in Portugal. He served as general manager for the company’s Little River Golf and Resort property in Carthage, N.C.
