The $6 million project will include a redesign of the current pool with the addition of a zero-entry section for young children with splash pads. Also, a new adult pool with pool bar will be built. Vestavia CC Plans $10M Makeover
The 18-hole golf course at the Birmingham, Ala., property will see $6.5 million of changes, with an overhaul of the irrigation system, greens, sod, cart path, bunkers and water feature. The plan for the property-wide renovations was approved in June, and work on the course is expected to be complete in early 2018.

Vestavia CC to Renovate Golf Course
The Birmingham, Ala., club hired architect Lester George to design the master plan of renovations, which will affect tees, greens, fairways, mowing patterns and bunkers on all 18 holes. Goals of the master plan are to create a golf course that is playable for all members, attracts future events, corrects infrastructure deficiencies and increases the environmental sensitivity of the course.
