Valley Children’s Hospital paid about $5 million for 60 acres of land that has been used by the Fresno, Calif. facility for a 60-station covered driving range and a 9-hole championship par-3 golf course. The closing of the nearly 20-year-old golf center, which has served as the official practice facility for the Fresno State University men’s and women’s golf teams, is scheduled for the end of the year.
