After 20 years with the management firm, John Easterbrook Jr. will leave his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer to take the new role, which will oversee the core PGA member-focused areas of the organization, including education, employment, member services and section business operations.

A grant request was recently approved to build a well on the Laramie, Wyo., golf course at the University of Wyoming with a goal of reducing the course’s use of public, potable water, though there is no current timeline to begin drilling. The funding coincides with an update to the property’s irrigation system.
