The Duluth, Minn. property is one of the two municipals in the city that continue to see mounting financial losses. Tom Sunnarborg, a Duluth native who helped The Disney Co. build Celebration, Fla., wants to buy the Lester Park property and downsize its 27 holes to an 18-hole course with a chalet-style, 120-room hotel.
Golf, Events Growth Planned at Streamsong Resort
The Bowling Green, Fla., resort will open a third golf course, Streamsong Black, with an accompanying clubhouse in fall 2017. In the meantime, the resort is expanding its events calendar, with a wine showcase with JUSTIN Winery and Landmark Vineyards scheduled for December 8.
