The historic William Watson-designed course has received six completely new greens, ten green enlargements or restorations, a complete bunker renovation, updated tees, re-construction of green surrounds and approaches, tree removals, and a new irrigation system.
The two-day symposium at Brookside GC in Pasadena, Calif., will bring together industry experts and leaders to share tools, insights, ideas and solutions to help golf facilities enhance operations and improve the golf experience.
The renovation at the Los Angeles property consisted of rebuilding and shaping four greens, slight adjustments on all other greens capturing additional hole locations, rebuilding green surrounds, reconfiguring approach areas, and repositioning bunkers while reducing overall water usage.
