David Sawyer, Managing Partner of The Cliffs Clubs, said the company currently does not have plans to commit additional funding for development of the former Cliffs at High Carolina site in Fairview, N.C. that was to feature luxury homes and a Woods-designed course. “I’m sure it will find its way to the development track eventually,” Sawyer said.

Updated Plans for Chicago’s South Side Course Still Raise Concerns

The new design for merging the Jackson Park and South Shore golf courses, reflecting modifications made after initial community input, would add more pedestrian trails and relocate the public pavilion clubhouse. But it would still require closing a major street to vehicle traffic and eliminate parts of an existing nature and butterfly sanctuary.
