Norman, Dye Courses in Florida Set for Overhauls

The Greg Norman-designed Black Course at Tiburon GC at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Fla. has been closed until November for a complete “remastering.” In Estero, Fla., members of the West Bay Club have approved a $4 million renovation of the Pete Dye-designed championship course; the project will begin in April 2018, with expected completion by November 2018.


Ten Troon Facilities to Host Drive, Chip and Putt Championships

The Troon properties in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Mississippi, New York and Wyoming were selected to host local or sub-regional qualifying events for the championship, which is a complimentary youth golf development initiative in which the top 80 performers will earn an invitation to the National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club on the eve of the 2018 Masters Tournament.


Troon to Manage Tiburón Golf Club

The Naples, Fla., property features two 18-hole, Greg Norman-designed golf courses, a 27,000-sq. ft. clubhouse with three dining rooms, private member locker rooms and lounge areas, and a golf shop. The semi-private club has 260 golf members and is home to the Impact Zone Golf Academy which offers private lessons, multi-day golf schools and junior camps.
