Texas-Sized One-Eyed Gator Captured on Golf Course
Named “Chubbs” in a nod to a similar creature from the Happy Gilmore movie, the 12-foot-long alligator was sunning itself on a tee box at River Pointe Golf Course in Richmond, Texas before being roped and tugged onto a tractor by Christy Kroboth, a full-time dental hygienist and part-time wrangler who also recently removed an 800-lb. gator from a shopping mall.

Sugar Creek CC Nears Completion of $2.5M Renovation
Improvements to two of the Sugar Land, Texas property’s three nine-hole golf courses are complete, along with updates to the short game practice area, locker facilities, dining room, and bar and grill. The third golf course will be complete in 2016, and the fitness center and tennis facilities will be complete this year.
Sugar Creek CC Plans $2.5M Renovation
The Sugar Land, Texas property plans to continue the renovation of the second of its three nine-hole golf courses this year, with completion scheduled for September. For non-golf members, the clubhouse’s member dining areas, The 19th Hole Bar & Grill, and pool-side dining service will also be updated.
