Don Frost faces two theft scheme charges related to allegations that he took proceeds from sales of golf grips paid for by the city, and sold golf balls from the course to a refurbishment company for his own profit. If convicted of both theft charges, Frost faces up to 25 years in prison and fines of up to $25,000.

The club worked with developers to make sure the 35 villas and eight single-family homes on the private land will not interfere with play, and is hoping the residences will become an asset for the club.
