Sixty-six years ago, Mo Burke began building the 36-hole miniature golf course by himself when he was just 15 years old. As Cape Cod has exploded in growth, the land on which the course is located is now worth over $1 million, but Mo and his wife Sylvia refuse to sell.

Joe O’Connor and Jennifer Webster O’Connor assumed ownership of the Sandwich, Mass., property on February 1, and will both provide golf instruction. The owners are expanding leagues and junior programs, and recently hired a new chef who revamped the menu and will keep the restaurant open three to four days a week year-round.

KemperSports has been selected to manage San Jose (Calif.) Country Club and The Ridge Club in Sandwich, Mass., while Mosaic Clubs & Resorts will operate The I’On Club, a high-end athletic club in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
