California chefs are staying firm in their resolve to meet customer demand for the dish, while wondering why much more serious threats such as assault rifles or hunger and homelessness aren’t being addressed by legislators and activists.
Dozens of Raccoons Killed at Miami Springs (Fla.) G&CC
The city hired an exterminator to capture and kill 37 raccoons on the municipal golf course. The property’s director said he has spotted 150 raccoons on the course “in the middle of the day,” and that their presence had become a danger to humans. Some residents and PETA have spoken out against the action.
