Troon to Manage Golf Operations for The Bay Club Company

Marin CC Undergoes Renovation Project
The Novato, Calif., property is in the midst of a project that will reduce the number of bunkers from 72 to 50, add new forward tees that play to 4,450 yards, and expand the short game area. The project launched in late February and is expected to take 12 weeks to complete.
Ten Troon Facilities to Host Drive, Chip and Putt Championships
The Troon properties in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Mississippi, New York and Wyoming were selected to host local or sub-regional qualifying events for the championship, which is a complimentary youth golf development initiative in which the top 80 performers will earn an invitation to the National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club on the eve of the 2018 Masters Tournament.
$10M Upgrade Planned for Newly Purchased StoneTree GC
San Francisco-based Bay Club Co. currently owns 11 recreation and fitness facilities in the area, and said the purchase of the Novato, Calif., property is “the first in a series of acquisitions planned to transform traditional golf courses into modernized country clubs.”
Napa Valley CC Installs Solar Power System
The Napa, Calif., property will be powered by a 251-kW solar power system that is ground-mounted on a hillside above the golf course, spanning a total of 17,610 sq. ft. The system allows the club to generate enough electricity each day to power over 57 average homes, with excess power banked by Pacific Gas & Electric Company for credit towards future use.
