The Morrison, Colo., club allowed members to have access to the facilities for the duration of the $4.2 million project, through special events, golf tournaments and weddings. According to the club, membership numbers remained steady throughout the expansion, just shy of its cap for golf.
Red Rocks CC Completes Clubhouse Expansion
The Morrison, Colo. club has spent $4.2 million to double the size of its clubhouse and add a bar, outdoor patio and larger event space. “With all the different member leagues, clubs, events and activities, a 13,000-sq. ft. clubhouse didn’t meet members’ needs,” said General Manager Mark Condon. “The growth in popularity of family clubs as we go into 2016 is a huge trend.”
