Baltimore CC, The Quechee Club to Host Collegiate Tournaments
The Big Ten Conference has selected Baltimore Country Club as the site of its 2017 and 2018 Men’s Golf Championships, which will be played in Lutherville, Md. on the club’s Five Farms East course. In Quechee, Vt., The Quechee Club is set to host the Third Annual Quechee Collegiate Challenge, for 33 men’s and ladies teams from 29 Division I and II schools in the Northeast.

Through a $3.6 million capital improvement project, the city club in Rochester, N.Y. has added a new casual dining space and new pub and lounge, enhanced the fitness center with a two-story addition that includes a group exercise studio, expanded the kitchen and opened new rooms for child-watching, young children and teens.

Walnut Creek CC Plans Expansion Amid Member Growth
Members recently approved the first phase of a potential two-phase plan at the South Lyon, Mich., property to update the golf course, and enhance the clubhouse to create a pub-feel to the grill room and improve patio dining.
Birmingham (Mich.) CC Plans $2.3M Restoration
The 98-year-old golf course will close in August 2015 and reopen in June 2016 after irrigation and drainage are improved, holes six and 15 are renovated, and greens and fairways are converted to creeping bentgrass.
