Wellington Equestrian Partners has reached an agreement to buy the Wellington, Fla., property from a private trust affiliated with John Goodman, a businessman serving two 16-year prison sentences for DUI manslaughter. The company also bought The Wanderers Club in Wellington from Goodman earlier this year for $6.9 million.

With the addition of the Mount Laurel, N.J., property, the company now owns a stake in seven Philadelphia-area clubs. The property will undergo renovations, including irrigation and drainage improvements on the golf course, while the clubhouse will close to update the interiors, upgrade an outdoor wedding ceremony area, and add a tavern.
