The neighborhood association of the Wilmington, N.C. property filed a court motion to stop the development plans of the Matrix Development group and to gain a permanent injunction to ensure continued operation of the golf course.

Matrix Development Group, which has owned the Wilmington, N.C., property since 1995, submitted a site plan that called for a 240-unit apartment complex, 171 single family homes, and 125 townhomes, as well as five additional tennis courts, four pickleball courts, and additional pool space. Matrix plans to retain ownership of the swimming and tennis club.
