Alongside its distributor, Turf Star, the equipment manufacturer has finalized a 12-year equipment and tournament support agreement with the city and La Jolla, Calif., golf course. Upcoming events at Torrey Pines include the 2017 Farmers Insurance Open and the 2021 U.S. Open.

The $265 million deal adds 50 owned and operated clubs to ClubCorp’s portfolio, and increasing its number of private clubs by 30 percent.

The Newnan, Ga.-based Sequoia has added Mill Creek (Wash.) CC to its portfolio, which features an 18-hole golf course designed by Ted Robinson and club dining and private event facilities in a mountain setting. The city of Tamarac (Fla.) selected Billy Casper Golf to take over operations of the 36-hole, daily-free Colony West CC, which has been closed since late August.

The management firm announced the acquisition of three private golf and country clubs in the north Atlanta metro area, a 20-year lease agreement with Old Ranch CC in Seal Beach, Calif., and plans for $4.5 million in capital improvements at the properties.
