The town of Seneca Falls’ annual Recreation Boosters golf tournament has been held at the public Silver Creek Golf Club in nearby Waterloo, N.Y., but Mike Ferrara of Seneca Falls CC, which is now semi-private, appealed to town officials to help make his club the host site, citing the taxes and fees that the club pays and the benefits it would gain from the added revenue. “I respect Silver Creek and its owner, but I feel this tournament should be in Seneca Falls,” Ferrara said.
