The Greenville, N.C., club, with a golf course designed by Lee Trevino, joins the Beaufort Club, Compass Pointe and Magnolia Greens in the Renaissance portfolio. The new owner plans to add fitness facilities at Ironwood and strengthen its connection with East Carolina University through special membership programs for faculty, students and alumni.

A long-standing supplier relationship has helped Pinehurst Resort enjoy worry-free operation for nearly all of its vehicle needs.
With construction beginning in November, the club hosted a public unveiling of the planned amenities, which will cover 1.28 acres and include an adult pool and nearby hot tub, a zero-entry family pool with a water slide, an indoor cafe, an open-air bar, and an event lawn.
The golf course will be renamed Pinehurst No. 9 and is immediately available for play to Pinehurst members, and will be available to resort guests in July.
