Sprinklers Help Inverness CC Avoid Catastrophe
On March 25, a fire started on a loading dock at the Birmingham, Ala., property and spread to the wall and roof, which firefighters got under control within 15 minutes, attributing their quick work to the help of sprinklers. In 2007, the property lost its 17,000-sq. ft. clubhouse to a fire and rebuilt the structure two years later.
Charlie Turner Named Chambers’ Director of Interior Design
The Baltimore-based planning, architecture and interior design firm noted that Turner’s portfolio of hospitality projects, including restaurants, spas, fitness centers and resorts was an “important draw” for Chambers. Turner is a certified Interior Designer at the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, and a graduate-level adjunct professor at the Corcoran College of Art and Design.
