ClubCorp has acquired Norbeck Country Club in Rockville, Md., with plans for a multimillion-dollar renovation of the property’s dining amenities, social features, and other amenities. The city of Gulf Breeze, Fla., is in negotiations with Troon to take over operations of Tiger Point Golf Club, which has been managed by Integrity Golf since 2015.
Resident to Make Offer on Tiger Point GC
Paul Stagner outlined broad plans to purchase and operate the Gulf Breeze, Fla., property to the city council, noting that he would maintain the golf course with 36 holes rather than the current 18. The property is currently owned by the city and operated by Integrity Golf. Stagner plans to have an official offer to the city before September 1.

The Gulf Breeze, Fla., property includes a links-style, 18-hole championship course designed by Jerry Pate that features water in play on 14 holes.
Tiger Point GC Weighs a Revamp
The Gulf Breeze, Fla., club, which is owned by the municipality, has incurred $990,000 in losses to the city. Private Club Associates is conducting an assessment of the property, to determine the best course of action.
